General Camp Equipment List

Each camper is provided a canvas, two person tents on a wooden platform and an army style cot. Thefollowing list of recommended items, remember your Scout is camping for seven days and six nights. All items must be marked with Scouts’ last name and troop number.
Each Scout should have a foot locker, Lowes, Container Store, and Home Depot have them. A lock for the foot locker, combinations is best. A copy of the combination or Key will be turned into the Troopat Check In.

What not to bring to camp…
  • Aerosol spray of any kind, Lighters, Pocket Knife if a first year Scout, gas lantern, hats or tee shirts with Non‐Scouting logos (plain is acceptable), tobacco material of any kind.
What to bring to Camp…

  • Class “A” Uniform
  • Boy Scout Handbook
  • (Make a copy of advancement

  • Sun glasses
  • Shorts (Green or Plain)
  • Water Bottle (Very Important)
  • Swimsuit
  • Short Sleeve T shirts/Shirts
  • Plain or BSA Logo
  • Lip Balm
  • Medication (to be turned into the troop at check‐in)
  • Long Pants/Sweat Pants
  • Insect Repellant (NON‐Aerosol)
  • Daypack/Backpack
  • Light Sweat Shirt Plain or BSA
  • Sleeping Bag, Extra Blanket
  • (Fleece Sleeping Bag is Great)
  • Camera (optional)
  • Poncho or Rain Jacket Sleeping Pad Spending Money
  • Hiking boots or Sturdy Sneakers
  • (More than one pair)
  • Pillow Dirty Cloths Duffel
  • 8 Socks, 2 Pair BSA
  • Drinking Cup

  • Class “A” Uniform includes Scout Belt, Scout Shirt, Neckerchief, Green Shorts, Scout Socks; it is worn to and from Camp while traveling and each evening at the Flag Ceremony.
